1) All flights must adhere to the DGCA regulations
2) Fly within the planned area only for the entire duration of your flight
3) Keep personal information up to date. Notify insurer in case of any updates

What is covered?

1) All commercial flights within India
2) Third party accidental property damage caused by the drone
3) Third party accidental bodily injury (including death) caused by the drone
4) Hull Damage cover if Comprehensive insurance type is opted
5) BVLOS opertaion if opted as Add-On 8)Night Flying if opted as Add-On
6) Training/RPTO if opted as Add-On

What is not covered?

1) Drones that are used for recreational purposes
2) Drones that are used for training purposes if Training/RPTO not opted as Add-On
3) Drones that are used for military purposes
4) Liability directly or indirectly caused by or contributed to by or arising from the use of operation of any computer, computer system, computer software program, malicious code, computer virus or process, or any other electronic system
5) Any claim in the event of or due to or arising out of:
a) Violation of privacy of an individual or entity
b) RPAs being used for purposes other than mentioned on the Certificate of Insurance
c) RPAs / Drones being used for the carriage of ammunitions or weapons
6) Loss or damage directly or indirectly occasioned by, happening through or in consequence of war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (Whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation or nationalization or requisition or destruction of or damage to property by or under any government order or public or local authority or any liabilities arising therefrom

Disclaimer

Please read the following conditions before purchasing drone insurance -
1) Pilot is in sound mental health
2) Pilot has a permit to take off
3) Pilot is certified from a drone training school
4) Pilot, drone and project meet all local legislation and permission requirements
5) Drone to be used is being maintained as per manufacturer's guidelines

Claims process

Before you make a claim, please keep in mind:
1) In case of an incident, do not admit liability or fault- No liability shall be admitted and no offer or promise of payment shall be made by the insured without the written consent of the insurers.
2) Document as much as you can - Provide as much information as you can about the incident. Photos, notes, details and involved third parties will help insurer to process your claim as quick as possible
To make a claim
1) Download the Claim Form -
a) Go to “My Coverages” section under "Insurance" in the TropoGo app menu or website
b) Select the Certificate of Insurance for which you want to make the claim
c) Click on 'Make a Claim' (in TropoGo app) or 'Get Claim Form' (in Tropogo website)
d) Follow on screen instructions & we will send you an email with Claim Form with detailed instructions
e) Fill all the details in Claim Form
Send the duly filled Claim Form & necessary documentation to claims@tropogo.com and the issuing office address. The issuing office address can be found in your Policy document. Once all the information is received, insurer will review the claim and make the final settlement. Note - For a successful claim submission, duly filled in Claim Form will need to be provided. When does my cover start and end?

This coverage is valid for 12 months (365 days) from the start date and time that you select. Coverage period will be stated on your Certificate of Insurance.
