Drone Instructor

The Drone Instructor position is a full-time, on-site role . As a Drone Instructor, you will be responsible for training and educating both hobbyists and professionals on drone piloting, safety, and other related topics. You will be responsible for creating and delivering educational materials, such as hands-on training, lectures, and assessments. You will also be responsible for supervising and coaching students as they learn to operate drones.

• Design comprehensive training programs covering all aspects of drone operation, including safety protocols, flight maneuvers, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, demonstrations, simulations, and hands-on practice.
• Prioritize safety throughout the training process, emphasizing the importance of adhering to airspace regulations, avoiding hazards, and minimizing risks associated with drone operation.
• Stay updated on local, national, and international regulations governing drone usage, ensuring that training programs reflect current legal requirements and best practices.
• Provide hands-on experience with drone equipment, guiding students through flight exercises, troubleshooting technical issues, and practicing emergency procedures.
• Evaluate students' proficiency in drone operation through practical assessments and written examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
• Offer technical assistance and guidance to students encountering challenges with drone equipment, software, or troubleshooting.
• Facilitate advanced training courses and workshops for experienced drone operators seeking to enhance their skills or specialize in specific applications, such as aerial photography or surveying.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, assessments, and course materials, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Build rapport with students and clients, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and fostering a positive learning environment conducive to skill acquisition and professional growth.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with quadcopters, fixed-wing aircraft, and other unmanned systems.
• Drone Instructor must have DGCA Certificate ( Mandatory) .
• Expert knowledge of drone safety and piloting procedures, as well as regulatory frameworks that apply to drone use
• Experience developing and delivering educational materials, such as course outlines, lectures, and assessments
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with students, educators, trainers, and other stakeholders
• Experience with drone repair and assembly is a plus
• FAA Part 107 Certification or equivalent is a plus
• Experience with GIS, mapping, and remote sensing is a plus
