Position Title: Drone Pillot (Third Party Role)
Location: Dawalwadi, Jalna, Maharashtra
Key Responsibilities:
- Drone Operations for Agriculture:
- Conduct drone flights for agricultural applications, including crop monitoring, health assessment, pest and disease mapping and yield estimation.
- Ensure accurate data collection using drones equipped with multispectral, RGB and thermal sensors.
- Must be familiar with the mission planning softwares
- Drone and Sensor Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of drones and agricultural sensors to ensure reliable field operations.
- Address hardware and software issues promptly, minimizing downtime in field activities.
- Data Collection and Management:
- Operate payload systems to collect actionable data for precision farming.
- Process and organize data for further analysis by agronomy and GIS teams.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all flight missions comply with DGCA regulations and company-specific operational guidelines.
- Maintain detailed logs of flight operations and equipment usage.
- Awareness about flying zones in Digisky portal and adherence to compliance
- Collaboration with Agricultural Teams:
- Work closely with agronomists, crop scientists, and GIS specialists to align drone operations with specific crop management objectives.
- Provide operational insights and recommendations for enhancing drone usage in agriculture.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Certifications:
- DGCA-certified Drone Pilot (mandatory).
- Additional certifications in drone applications for agriculture will be an advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in operating drones
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of drones and sensors.
