Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Drone Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Drone Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our drone systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of drone technology into our products and services.
Responsibilities

  • Design and develop drone hardware and software systems, including flight control algorithms, navigation systems, and sensor integration.
  • Conduct research to stay abreast of the latest advancements in drone technology and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate drone systems into overall product designs.
  • Perform testing and validation of drone systems to ensure compliance with performance and safety requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues with drone systems, both in the field and during development.
  • Maintain documentation and provide technical support to internal teams and external partners.
  • Stay informed about regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of drone engineering processes and workflows.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing drone systems, including both hardware and software components.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in drone development, such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
  • Strong understanding of flight dynamics, control systems, and sensor fusion techniques.
  • Experience with CAD software for drone design, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols used in drones, such as MAVLink and ROS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
