Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Drone Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Drone Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our drone systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of drone technology into our products and services.

Responsibilities

Design and develop drone hardware and software systems, including flight control algorithms, navigation systems, and sensor integration.
Conduct research to stay abreast of the latest advancements in drone technology and identify opportunities for innovation.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate drone systems into overall product designs.
Perform testing and validation of drone systems to ensure compliance with performance and safety requirements.
Troubleshoot and debug issues with drone systems, both in the field and during development.
Maintain documentation and provide technical support to internal teams and external partners.
Stay informed about regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of drone engineering processes and workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in designing and developing drone systems, including both hardware and software components.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in drone development, such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
Strong understanding of flight dynamics, control systems, and sensor fusion techniques.
Experience with CAD software for drone design, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Familiarity with communication protocols used in drones, such as MAVLink and ROS.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
