About NeoSky India Limited
NeoSky India Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd. is leading the way in drone industry in India with its 360° Drone-as-a-Product and Drone-as-a-Service portfolio. NeoSky started their first Drone RPTO (Remote Pilot Training Organisation) in the heart of Bangalore city. NeoSky has set up a state-of-the-art infrastructure, this includes a class room, best-in-class flight simulators, Type certified drones, a library and a lab along with a huge 3 ½ acre green zone in Narsapura, Kolar district where the students will be trained on drone flying, initially with the help of trainers and later exposed to ‘Solo flying’ to ensure that all the pilots can master flight manoeuvres. Neosky Drone RPTO is led by an ex-Air force veteran who is a subject matter expert in drones, supported by DGCA-Certified & trained instructors. 1) Why should anyone take a Drone pilot license course?

India is aiming to be a drone hub by the year 2030. Drones will see a massive growth in this decade. To operate any drone (except a Nano drone) in India, one needs a Pilot license, as per Drone Rules, 2021.

2) Who all can do a Drone pilot license course?

 Anyone who is keen to operate a drone. He/She can either be a tech enthusiast, videographer, Vlogger, traveler, engineer, diploma holder in any stream or anyone who wants to operate a drone in the future. Basically, anyone who wants to learn something new and futuristic. This course helps you  upskill and be future proof.  

3) Is this a DGCA Certified course?
Yes. NeoSky received Drone RPTO license from DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) and the company runs DGCA- Certified courses.
4) What is NeoSky?

NeoSky is a wholly owned subsidiary of RattanIndia Enterprises (REL) with presence across consumer, commercial, defence drones along with Drone pilot training & services. Company is headquartered in Delhi and having its first Drone RPTO in Bangalore. 

5) How many days does this course last?

a.     The standard course runs for 5-Days and generally starts on Monday. We also conduct weekend classes.

b.     The period of ‘Customized courses’ varies based on the curriculum. 

6) What is covered in the course curriculum?

The standard DGCA-Certified course will cover basics of Drone, Regulations, Aerodynamics, category of Drones, Metrology, Drone maintenance, Safety management, Drone assembly, Flight simulator training, Flying classes, Solo flying, and others relevant topics. 

7) What kind of infrastructure is available for students?

We are situated in the heart of Bangalore. Having best-in-class simulators, type certified drones, a classroom with projector, laboratory, library, a large 3 ½ acre green zone and many other facilities . 

8) Who will run the training sessions at NeoSky?

 NeoSky Drone RPTO is led by an ex-Airforce Veteran with over 30 years of experience and who got trained in Israel. We also have certified & trained Instructors to take care of all the learning needs of our students. 

9) Which categories of drones are covered?

Class-Small , Category-RPAS Rotorcraft.

10) What are the basic requirements needed for enrolment for Drone Pilot license course?

a.     Age: 18 to 65 years

b.     Education: Minimum of 10th standard

c.      Holding a valid Indian passport

d.     A medical certificate

Also, the candidate to ensure that his / her Phone number and email-id are linked with Aadhar to issue RPC certificate.
11) Where is the location of RPTO training centre of Neosky?

NeoSky RPTO is situated in the heart of the city, at Kasturi nagar, Banaswari, Bangalore where all the classroom classes are done. Our flying field is based out in Narsapura, Kolar District. Generally, our classroom sessions run for 3 days for theory sessions & the balance 2 days will be for practical training at the flying field.

Note: Neosky arranges transportation from the Classroom to the flying field. 

12) What is the timing of the classes?

Our classroom session operates from 9a.m. to 6 p.m. Flight filed involves some travel time as well. 

13) Are there any tests that Neosky conducts?

To issue a Drone pilot license, NeoSky will conduct a Theory test and a flight test. One needs to pass these to get a certificate from NeoSky and DGCA. 

14) Is Medical certificate mandatory?

 Yes, it is needed to get a Drone Pilot license. Our team will help with all the necessary details. 

15) What are the career opportunities for individuals who complete drone training?

 India aims to be a drone hub by the year 2030 and is likely to see a growth of 100X between 2020 and 2030. As per the Government of India (GOI) estimates, India will need around 1 lakh drone pilots in the next few years. There are many job opportunities in Land mapping, Infrastructure inspection, Agriculture, Logistics, Surveillance, Photography and many more for certified drone pilots.

17) Is there an EMI option for this course?
NeoSky offers Easy EMI’s to our students. We are tied up with many lenders who offer- financing options. These options can be availed of in as low as 10 minutes, with a CIBIL score of 550 or more for any working employee with a minimum income of Rs. 13,500/- pm.
18) Do we get DGCA a Certificate?
Yes, the qualified student gets a NeoSky and also a DGCA Certificate. One need to ensure that they are qualified for the course (as prescribed by DGCA) and ensure that they pass the theory and practical flying test to get these certificates.
19) Can NeoSky customize a course?

 We can run customized courses based on the needs of the students. We will have a batch focused on Videography, Land mapping, Agriculture and more. 

20) Can Neosky run a separate batch?

NeoSky can run a separate batch or even customize courses based on the needs of the students and our availability. 

21) Which are the documents needed to register with NeoSky for the pilot training course?

a.     NeoSky registration form (to be given by the NeoSky team)

b.     4-Passport sized photographs (White background)

c.     Copy of Aadhar card
        (Also, Aadhar needs to be linked with Phone number and Email-Id)

d.     Government approved ID proof and Address proof

e.     Mark sheet of 10th standard/ marksheet or a higher qualification certificate

f.       Medical certificate

g.     Valid Indian Passport
