Team Lead – Drone Pilot Operations

We are looking for a highly responsible and driven Team Lead – Drone Pilot Operations to take charge of our drone field operations team. This role goes beyond just piloting drones — you will be managing the entire drone operations vertical, including team deployment, project execution, client coordination, and performance tracking. You will act as the bridge between the management and ground teams, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of all drone-based agricultural services.

• Lead and manage the entire drone pilot operations team across multiple project sites.
• Plan and allocate resources, oversee scheduling, and ensure timely execution of drone missions (spraying, mapping, seeding, etc.).
• Supervise day-to-day field activities and enforce operational discipline among the team.
• Conduct regular reviews, identify gaps, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Mentor and train new pilots and interns to maintain a high-performing team.
• Ensure all missions comply with DGCA and internal safety protocols.
• Manage drone fleet readiness, including maintenance schedules and troubleshooting.

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in drone operations or training
• Excellent team leadership and people management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and basic English.
• Knowledge of DGCA drone guidelines is a plus.
