Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting Remote Pilot Training courses according to the approved syllabus and TPM.
- Ensuring that UAS operations are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
- Responsible for examining and testing trainees' competency in theoretical knowledge, lab training, simulator sessions, and practical flying.
- Safeguarding the Intellectual Property rights of the organization and maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintaining and updating student training reports, progress records, and certifications in accordance with regulations.
- Adhering to defined procedures and timelines as specified in the approved RPTO TPM.
- Complying with regulatory requirements and fulfilling assigned roles and responsibilities.
- Conducting examinations in compliance with drone regulations and maintaining strict examination question security.
- Providing correct and approved course information to trainees using authorized materials and resources.
- Staying informed about drone rules/regulations, syllabus updates, and the latest technical developments.
- Undergoing necessary training and updating as required to maintain instructor qualification and competency.
- Developing examination questions and validating them when necessary.
- Coordinating with the Planning/Scheduling team for Drone Training courses.
- Developing courseware based on the approved syllabus.
- Acting as a backup in case of Maintenance staff absence.
Qualifications/ Skills:
- Completing the DGCA-approved Train the Trainer program for the relevant category and class of RPA and Trainer certification.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a drone pilot.
- Preferably 1 to 1.5 years of experience as a Drone pilot instructor.
- Past teaching experience is an added advantage.
- Background in UAV/Drone or aviation is preferred.
- Proficiency and autonomy in using Common MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentations).
