Job Description
Qualification
- Basic knowledge of electrical test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope) and UAS sensors
- Experience with systems designed for redundancy, highly desired
- Experience with UAV autopilots: PX4 or ardupilot
- Experience with power electronics, motors, sensors, and ESCs, used in UAVs
- Experience working with Robotic Systems and Radio Controlled, Unmanned, or Full-Scale aircraft
- Experience with RTOS is highly desired
- Demonstrated ability to manage a small team in delivering time-critical complex projects
- Good working knowledge of C++, CAN, Arduino, RS232 and related protocols
Responsibilities
- Fine-tune the performance of the UAV
- Conducting flight tests, collecting data, and analyzing the results to identify any issues or problems with the drone
- Develop test profiles and scripts for validation and quality assurance
- Design and plan flight test programs for UAVs to validate their performance, reliability, and safety with respect to given guidelines.
- Develop UI applications
- Perform hardware-in-the-loop tests and support the flight test department
- Assume responsibility for the documentation and verification of the software development for the authorization by the aviation authority
- Support the flight operations department
