Preferred Experience

Relevant experience in propulsion, EV systems, or aerospace powertrain engineering.

Strong academic projects or internships in electric motors, batteries, or UAV propulsion systems.

Basic understanding of:

Efficiency mapping and data logging

Exposure to UAV Operations: Familiarity with UAV propulsion profiles and mission requirements

Innovation: Interest in emerging propulsion technologies

Compliance Awareness: Basic knowledge of aerospace standards (DO-160, MIL-STD)

Growth Potential: Willingness to learn advanced simulation and thermal management

Required Skill Sets & Tools

Analysis: MS Excel (data logging)

Simulation basics:

CAD: SolidWorks (basic assembly layouts)

Telemetry: Familiarity with ground/flight test monitoring

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Aerospace / Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibility Areas

Thrust Stand Operations & Testing
- Operate thrust stands for KV measurement, torque, and efficiency mapping
- Perform battery cycle testing and degradation tracking
- Log current, voltage, and power data during tests
Powertrain Assembly & Integration Support
- Assist in engine run-ins (for ICE systems)
- Support powertrain hardware assembly and subsystem integration
Performance Tracking & Monitoring
- Track mass budgets and power consumption
- Monitor basic telemetry during ground and flight tests
- Support data collection and reporting for performance validation
Documentation & Compliance Support
- Prepare test logs, SOPs, and basic technical documentation
- Assist in requirements traceability and compliance support
