Airbound operates a fleet of next‑generation delivery aircraft, and the Operations team ensures every flight runs seamlessly and cost-effectively. As an early‑stage aerial‑logistics company, we view Operations as a strategic pillar that drives growth and innovation.
The team wears many hats: overseeing launch‑site selection and setup, flight planning, fleet utilization, and client onboarding. We also monitor weather, collate flight data, and aggregate historical patterns to power predictive analytics, while establishing the SOPs that keep our network running safely. Beyond routine workflows, we work on big-ticket problems such as cost‑optimization and pricing strategy.
Operations is the glue that holds Airbound together. We work cross-functionally with engineering teams to translate growth ambitions into a detailed operations roadmap, which directly informs product design and engineering priorities.
We have a strong bias for execution that is heavily informed by data. Decisions are guided by metrics—not gut instinct. We form hypotheses through critical thinking, then validate (or disprove) them with rigorous analysis of flight logs, delivery times, and cost metrics.
We’re process-obsessed, relentlessly data‑driven, and biased toward rapid, efficient execution—always asking- How can we deliver better, faster, and cheaper?
