Strong academic projects or internships in CAD modelling, manufacturing, or aerospace applications

Basic understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and mechanical design fundamentals

Required Skill Sets & Tools

CAD: SolidWorks, Siemens NX, CATIA
Drafting: AutoCAD
Documentation: MS Office
Design Knowledge: Engineering drawings, GD&T basics, and manufacturing processes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering

Key Responsibility Areas

CAD Modeling & Design
- Create 3D part models and basic assemblies using SolidWorks / Siemens NX / CATIA
- Perform CAD clean-up and geometry corrections
- Assist in concept sketches and preliminary layouts
Drawings & GD&T
- Generate 2D manufacturing drawings with standard tolerances
- Apply basic GD&T as per ASME Y14.5
Assembly & Integration
- Assist in assembly mating and integration checks
- Integrate COTS components (fasteners, brackets, hardware)
Data & Change Management
- Support Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECN) execution
- Convert legacy data (STEP / IGES formats) into editable CAD models
